Rosa Santana, Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, is the director and founder of Yogarosa. A former Personal Trainer and Aerobics Instructor, she discovered yoga at her local gym in 1995. Since then, she has been studying, teaching, and propagating the therapeutic benefits of Iyengar Yoga. She was drawn to the mental and physical discipline after suffering three accidental falls, one of which fractured her tailbone. Since healing her back, neck and sciatica pains, she has dedicated her life to helping others heal so they may live a fuller, richer, and pain free life. In 2002, Mrs. Santana opened Yogarosa, a yoga studio which has attracted hundreds of students to the teachings of Iyengar Yoga.  She attended Mr. Iyengar's 80th Birthday Celebration in Pune, India, the Odyssey and the National Iyengar Conventions, featuring Geeta Iyengar, and the Yoga Journal Iyengar Intensive Conference, in Estes Park, Colorado (which coincided with Mr. Iyengar’s Book Tour, Light on Life).  Rosa's inspiration comes from all of her teachers: Dean Lerner, Mary Dunn, Rebecca Lerner, Laura Allard, Prof. Edwin Bryant, and all of her students. She is deeply grateful to those who introduced her to Iyengar Yoga, and who lit a spark in her to ignite a passion for teaching: Bobbi Goldin, Manuso Manos, and Marilyn Rubin. She believes yoga is accessible, healing, and transformational for all who try it. Rosa Habla Español e Fala Portugues.

Denise is a certified Sivananda Yoga Instructor, and has studied Ayurveda extensively with Dr. Prasad Lad. We believe Denise is an angel.

Marilyn Rubin began doing yoga in the mid-eighties, when a friend suggested that she try Iyengar Yoga to relieve her back pain. Iyengar yoga began to heal her back pain and eventually she took an interest in teaching. The Iyengar system of yoga appealed to Marilyn on many levels i.e body, mind and spirit. She has been teaching since 1989 and studying with Suzie Muchnick Spencer, Manouso Manos, Colleen Gallagher and other senior teachers.  She has attended the Iyengar conventions in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and St. Paul, Minnesota. Marilyn spent a month studying at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India in July of 2007. Marilyn has been a massage therapist for 27 years, a yoga teacher for 16 yrs, and looks forward to the future with the possibility of peace and healing for all. Marilyn Habla Español.
